Copyright
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By submitting and publishing their manuscript in PCJN: Pharmaceutical and Clinical Journal of Nusantara, authors grant the journal the right of first publication. The published work will be simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Under this license, others are permitted to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal as the initial publisher.
Author Rights
Authors retain significant rights over their work, including:
- Copyright and other proprietary rights related to the article, such as patent rights.
- The right to use the content of the article in future works, including lectures, books, and other scholarly publications.
- The right to reproduce the article for personal or academic purposes, provided that the copies are not offered for sale.
- The right to self-archive the published article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other academic platforms, with proper acknowledgment of its initial publication in the journal.
Authors may also enter into separate, additional non-exclusive agreements for the distribution of the journal’s published version of the work, provided that the original publication in this journal is clearly acknowledged.
Preprint and Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online prior to submission and during the review process (for example, in institutional repositories, academic networks, or personal websites). Early dissemination of research may facilitate scholarly discussion and may increase the visibility and citation of the published work.
When the article is published, authors are expected to update the preprint version with a reference and link to the final published version in the journal.

All articles published in this journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license permits users to copy, distribute, and share the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the journal.
- Author’s Warranties
The author(s) warrant that:
- The submitted article is original and written by the stated author(s).
- The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
- The article does not contain any unlawful or defamatory statements.
- The work does not infringe upon the copyright or rights of any third party.
- Any necessary permissions to reproduce previously published materials (such as figures, tables, or text excerpts) have been obtained from the copyright holder.
- User Rights
Under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License, users are free to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Use the content for non-commercial purposes.
All uses must include proper attribution to the original author(s) and the journal.
- Rights of Authors
Authors retain the following rights:
- Copyright and other proprietary rights related to the article.

d. The right to deposit and archive the article in institutional repositories or other scholarly platforms. - Co-Authorship
If the article is prepared jointly with other authors, the corresponding author confirms that they have obtained authorization from all co-authors to submit the manuscript and to agree to the terms of this publication agreement on their behalf.
- Termination
This agreement may be terminated by either party with two months’ written notice if the other party has materially breached the terms of the agreement and fails to remedy such breach within one month after receiving notice.
Termination will not affect the validity of licenses already granted under this agreement.
- Royalties
Authors are not entitled to royalties or financial compensation for the publication of their articles. To the extent permitted by law, authors waive any right to collect royalties related to the use of the article by the journal or its sublicensees.
- Miscellaneous
The journal will publish the article after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process. The journal reserves the right to make editorial changes related to formatting, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and style in accordance with the journal’s publication standards.
All published articles will be made freely accessible to readers without subscription or access fees.
The journal may grant sublicenses for the distribution and archiving of the article in indexing databases, repositories, and other scholarly platforms to ensure long-term accessibility and dissemination.
